Ensembles
Ensembles is a series that explores connections: how individual pieces, each with its own presence, generate new meaning when brought into relation with one another. Each element can be placed in different positions, and its proximity, distance, or orientation transforms the entire installation. The work becomes a living organism in which every part influences the others.
I approach these pieces through the idea of interaction: forms that suggest bodies, presences, or gestures coexisting within a shared space. Surfaces—sometimes glossy, sometimes matte or textured—define individual territories within a collective environment. When the pieces come together, a dynamic emerges that does not exist in any one of them alone: tensions, affinities, silences, dialogues.
In Ensembles, the base acts as a stage: a space that contains the installation and makes the relationships between the parts visible. The series reflects on how connections—between forms, bodies, or energies—reshape the whole, revealing that meaning arises through interaction.
